Novel Entertainment Limited is a television production company, and if you have any questions about what we do you can contact us at the address at the bottom of this document.

We need to ask you to give us information about yourself so you can join the Purple Hand Gang. We won’t share this information with anyone else.

If you want to become a member of the Purple Hand Gang and receive mailings from the website we’ll ask you to tell us your name, date of birth, age and we'll also ask for your email address as well as an email address for your grown up. An email will be sent to your grown up asking them to confirm that it's alright for you to sign up as a member, and when they reply and click on the activation link, you will become a member. If at any time you want to stop being a member, you can e-mail us at unsubscribe@horridhenry.me to tell us.
If you enter a competition, we need know how to get in touch with you if you win, so we’ll ask for your name, age, postal address and your email address. If you are one of the lucky winners, we will only put up your first name, age and your nearest town, so that everyone else knows that there has been a winner. You can find the competition rules further down this document.

If you send us your comments, reviews, drawings, stories, jokes – or anything else you want to share – make sure you don't put any private information, such as your address or email address, on them. If you are sending photos or video, and you didn't take it or make it yourself, make sure you've asked the person who took it if it's alright for you to send it to us. Prize Draws and Competitions: Terms and Conditions

1. No purchase is necessary to enter either a prize draw or a competition.
2. Only one entry per person allowed. Second or subsequent entries will be disqualified. Entries will not be accepted via agents, third parties or in bulk or by post or by telephone.
3. Entries must be received before midnight (UK time) of the closing date. Novel Entertainment Limited is not responsible for entries which are lost, misdirected, delayed or destroyed.
4. A prize draw or competition is only open to residents in the UK and Ireland except employees of Novel Entertainment Limited, their families, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the prize draw.
5. The prize will be non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. Novel Entertainment Limited reserves the right to alter the prizes without notice.
6. Novel Entertainment Limited reserves the right to amend the specification of the prize although every effort will be made to provide a prize or prizes of similar quality and value.
7. The winner will be picked randomly from the eligible list of entrants to the prize draw or competition.
8. The winner will be notified by email within 4 weeks of the closing date. Novel Entertainment Limited is not responsible for contacting or forwarding prizes to entrants who provide unclear or incomplete information or who fail to provide their postal details within 4 weeks of receiving such email notification.
9. Novel Entertainment Limited cannot be held responsible for non-delivery or receipt of the prize due to circumstances beyond their control.
10. The winner may have their first name, age and town of origin published on this website.
11. To obtain the name of the winner please write to Competitions, Novel Entertainment Limited, Innovation House, Mill Street, OX2 0XJ. Please give the title of the competition or prize draw and send a stamped addressed envelope. No entries should be sent to this address.
12. The email address you provide to enter the competition or prize draw will be used to contact you, and will not be shared with other companies. Novel Entertainment Limited will only use your email address in compliance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and in accordance with our privacy policy.
13. Novel Entertainment Limited’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. Novel Entertainment Limited reserves the right to terminate or withdraw the competition or prize draw at any time.
15. By entering the competition or prize draw each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.

General

If any of these terms are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which these terms are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and the remaining terms shall survive and continue to be binding and enforceable.

The failure or delay of Novel Entertainment Limited to exercise or enforce any right in these terms does not waive Novel Entertainment Limited's right to enforce that right.

These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales which shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
